Job Summary

As a member of the Quality, Compliance, and Analytics team in the Customer Support Delivery (CSD) organization, the Manager of QCA Analytics will lead a team of engineers and data analysts to generate and report Product and Support metrics and analysis.

The Quality analytics leader will partner with key stakeholders at NetApp to create, deploy, and manage a strategy to expand the measurement system across engineering and global support. The successful candidate will drive improvements in the product, process, and support operations to achieve higher customer satisfaction goals through data-driven decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Manage a diverse team of Engineers and data analysts spread across different locations (US and India)
  • Generate customer-focused product quality and support operations metrics and reporting dashboards
  • Report on data analysis findings regularly to cross-functional Engineering and Support teams and present approaches to achieving quality and customer experience improvement objectives.
  • Communicate with senior management and present approaches and findings using analytical and problem-solving skills effectively.
  • Enable teams to identify the root cause of systemic quality issues through data analysis leading to effective issue containment, correction, and prevention.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in managing a diverse team of individual contributor Engineers and analysts.
  • Generate and report product quality and support operations metrics and dashboards
  • Report on data analysis findings regularly to a cross-functional Engineering, Operations, and Support teams and present approaches to achieving quality objectives
  • Must be able to communicate with senior management and present approaches and findings using analytical and problem-solving skills effectively.
  • Must have a good understanding of Storage products, Software development, and Support operation processes.
  • Must have experience leading the technical staff and working with senior management level employees.
  • Experience in the below technologies :
    • Oracle, SQL Server, and Hadoop technologies
    • Unix/Python Scripting and data mining in Hive, SQL, Visual Basic
    • Analytics using advanced Machine Learning
    • Metrics and Dashboard development using Excel andTableau
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, etc.)

Education

  • Bachelors or Master of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • Must have 2-3 years of technical lead or management experience in a high-tech industry.
  • Must have 6-8 years of experience in quality metrics generation and reporting
  • Must have 8-10 years of experience working with:
    • Oracle, SQL Server, and Hadoop technologies
    • Scripting, and data mining in Hive, SQL, Visual Basic
    • Metrics and Dashboard development using Excel and Tableau.
