WHAT ROLE ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

We are growing and the number of our employees and offices will yet be increasing in the near future. For this reason, we want to place even greater emphasis on the quality and security of the technical infrastructure that will grow with us. We are therefore looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager, who, together with 7 colleagues (CZ and UK based), will set up team processes, responsibilities and methodologies as well as manage company-wide requirements, collections, global decisions and communication related to infrastructure matters with a long term goal to improve. The new manager will focus on automatizing and bringing the whole technical infrastructure of Codasip to the next level.

The work of the Infrastructure Manager in Codasip is very diverse and requires a broader scope.

However, the most important activities include:

• Leadership and supervision of the 7 members of the Infrastructure team
• People management, processes set up and overall cooperation of the team
• Moderation and management of the company-wide infrastructure topics
• Collection of requirements from the management, employees and teams, internal company communications about infra roadmap and strategy
• Implement policies/standards to improve the quality and efficiency of support services
• Responsible for the overall system and infrastructure availability and develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures
• Close cooperation with infrastructure architect

MAIN TECHNOLOGIES WE ARE USING:

• virtualization – oVirt
• containers orchestration – k8s
• configuration management (Ansible) – we aim to have infrastructure as a code approach
• networking (L2, L3 switches, VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, NGFW)
• Active Directory, MS Azure
• Cloud services – AWS
• In-house hardware (HP, Dell)

HOW DO WE ENVISION YOU:

• 5+ years of IT service management managing and operating experience
• 5+ years of experience in managing a similarly sized team
• strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate across a broad spectrum of users
• a very strong customer-oriented approach. Ability to prioritize and allocate resources/efforts appropriately
• excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills in Czech and English
• ability to manage through organizational change
