Intern – Fall 2020 – Model QA

Summary of Role:

This intern/co-op position is for Spice model QA scripts update and enhancement.  The candidate will work on improving Spice model QA methodology and efficiency for advanced CMOS processes.

Essential Responsibilities:     

• Infrastructure development/enhancement for Spice model and library QA
• Support production model QA for release
• Customer simulation support

Required Qualifications:        

• Education – Master or high in Electrical Engineering or Physics or other related disciplines
• Experience – Prior experience not required
• Travel – 0% of travel required
• Language Fluency – English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in CMOS device physics
• Good programming skills with Python and Unix shell scripts
• Familiarity with SPICE level simulation (HSPICE, SPECTRE) is a big plus
• Strong motivation in solving real world problems
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
