Reporting into the Director of Industrial Engineering, this role is responsible for optimising throughput, implementing efficiency improvements and ensuring the smooth operation of our semiconductor facility.
Key tasks
Analyse and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and enhance overall productivity.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes through equipment, reduce queue times and increase throughput on individual tools and the fab as a whole.
Optimise the layout of equipment and production facilities to maximise space utilisation.
Work closely with equipment vendors to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance within the manufacturing environment
Collaborate with equipment engineers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment.
Utilise statistical tools and methodologies to analyse production data and identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to management.
Use simulation software to simulate our process flow and implement any learnings on the actual line.
Any other duties commensurate with the role.
Qualifications and training
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in industrial engineering, within the semiconductor industry.
Proficiency in using statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
