HDR Production Manager

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

• Oversee on production and scheduling, planning, job, product roadmap and follow up on multiple Work Centre project.
• Coaching and leading the team to achieve corporate goals and metrics.
• Manpower Issues – Manpower arrangement within inter-department.
• Production Quality – Monitor on production quality and feedback on quality issues to Quality Assurance
• Communication with other department, outside contractor on multiple Work Centre job and supplier
• Outside Contractor training – Planning for Product transfer and new product
• Responsible for New product transfer (NPI), equipment capacities and utilization.
• Responsible to maintain department standards (Quality System as IATF16949, ISO9001 & ISO14001)
• Responsible for production flow optimization, floor layout and apply VSM to reduce waste
• Responsible for continuous improvement and improve productivity in all the areas.
• Responsible for people development and training
• Get involve on all the internal matters within the company.
• Assign job to production supervisor and oversee all activities within the company.
• Responsible for Purchase Orders for Production need and control the total department cost.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by management.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

     Required Experience:

• 5-10 years in related / similar position

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical related technical or equivalent experience.
