What part will you play?

  • In your new role, you design end-to-end supply and value chain solutions that meet the needs of our business type Service of Electrification & Automation customers.
  • You analyze and evaluate existing supply and value chain processes, identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement considering Supply Chain productivity and digitalization.
  • Moreover, you develop strategies for sourcing, production network, and logistics (transportation and warehousing) that serve the need of the business type Service.
  • You develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste, including suitable sourcing models and processing types such as e.g., just-in-time (JIT) and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs.
  • In your position, you will also support and drive sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of supply chain activities, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and packaging.
  • You collaborate closely with the service organization but also with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, R&D to understand the needs of the service business and to implement optimized value chain flows.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • The basis for your success is a master´s degree in either business administration, business/industrial engineering, or related disciplines.
  • You have more than 10 years of professional experience, e.g., logistics, procurement, operations, service, project management or engineering.
  • You understand end-to-end supply chains, including procurement, production, distribution, and all logistics processes.
  • Beyond that, you know supply chain design principles and methodologies, including process improvement and optimization techniques.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Furthermore, you have proven project management skills to lead complex projects and ensure timely delivery.
  • You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess the impact of decisions on the overall supply chain and make informed recommendations.
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory, good German skills are highly recommended, any other language skills are an advantage.
