Key responsibilities:
- Day to day accounting and performing the period-end closing and operational activities.
- Ensuring financial compliance with headquarters and local statutory requirements.
- Performing periodic account reconciliations ensuring completeness and quality of Balance Sheet for EMEA and US entities.
- Ensure filing of local tax returns timely and accurately.
- Assisting with internal and external financial and compliance audits, including SOX.
- Assisting with lease and vendor financing accounting per USGAAP.
- Ad hoc analysis of various types of financial information as requested.
Experience requirements / qualifications:
- Strong practical and theoretical accounting knowledge.
- Very good written and spoken English is a must, French is a plus.
- Proficient and experienced in MS Office applications, Excel in particular is a must.
- Experience with enterprise information systems, (Netsuite) a strong plus and preferred.
- High Integrity team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with others and promote positive working relationships across the organization.
- Motivated by challenging, high-energy, flexible environment. Ability to work under conditions of pressure and adjust to urgent and changing situations.
Education requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance and 5 years of accounting experience in an international environment.
