Genealogist Technician

Within the Photonics & Cloud AI BU, the genealogist technician, a specialist in product nomenclature (BOM), acts like a conductor and in a very evolving position.

Your main function is to manage the genealogy of the Business Unit’s products from their creation to their obsolescence, including their optimization and maintenance. In this role, you guarantee the integrity of the BOM (Bill of Material) and anticipate the impact of the various decisions concerning the BU’s products.

You support the creation and updating of PC/PF/Bulk during the product life cycle (PQRB, BQRB).

Central Planning interface, you provide genealogy guidelines (customer and internal qualifications, etc.) for COP/CRP planning exercises.

You also interface with Engineering and Materials experts to meet customer needs, and with the Finance and Order Management teams to manage finished product inventories.

Within the BU, you provide support to Product managers for genealogy modeling or product capability reporting. 

With a Bac + 2 or +3, senior technician, you have at least 3-4 years of industrial experience at SOITEC, which has allowed you to understand the world of production, supply chain or prototyping and to know SOITEC’s organization well. You have a good knowledge of processes and a good understanding of product and material integration.

You have the ability to work across departments, a real sense of interpersonal skills. You are structured, methodical, rigorous and organized, autonomous with the ability to evolve in a changing environment while obtaining visible and measurable results.

You are comfortable with computer tools (Google Suit, Oracle and JMP), you have a logical mind and a good ability to adapt to the use of new software tools. A mastery of the English language would be a plus.
