FW Engineer

Duties

[Responsibilities]

• Development of HW video codec firmware
• Collaboration with the HW(RTL) Design team

[What the team does]

• Implement F/W that controls video codec H/W with V-CPU (similar to RISC-V) in C language.
• System F/W: Write booting, CMD control, interrupt handle, codec driver, and cache control code.
• Codec F/W: Decodes or encodes the headers of various Codec standards and controls H/W.

[Verification Environment]

• Verification is being performed in an FPGA environment or H/W simulation environment.

Requirements

• Proficient in C or C++ programming
• Video codec specialist or related experience (9 years or more of experience required)

Preferential treatment

• Understanding of one or more modern video codecs, such as H.264, HEVC, VP9, ​​AV1, VVC, etc.
