Duties
[Responsibilities]
- Development of HW video codec firmware
- Collaboration with the HW(RTL) Design team
[What the team does]
- Implement F/W that controls video codec H/W with V-CPU (similar to RISC-V) in C language.
- System F/W: Write booting, CMD control, interrupt handle, codec driver, and cache control code.
- Codec F/W: Decodes or encodes the headers of various Codec standards and controls H/W.

[Verification Environment]
- Verification is being performed in an FPGA environment or H/W simulation environment.
Requirements
- Proficient in C or C++ programming
- Video codec specialist or related experience (9 years or more of experience required)
Preferential treatment
- Understanding of one or more modern video codecs, such as H.264, HEVC, VP9, AV1, VVC, etc.
