General info

We are looking for an Firmware Engineer to join our Codasip Labs team. The candidate will work on commercial prototypes aligned with the scope of the Listen2Future project. Listen2Future is co-funded project by the European Commission and is part of the KDT JU framework. The project is focused on the R&D of the next-generation low-power edge processing for acoustic solutions leveraging the RISC-V architecture. The Listen2Future project starts in Q1/2023.

Main responsibilities:

  • Innovate, develop, integrate, and evaluate state-of-the-art low-level SW security solutions for advanced AI/ML-capable RISC-V architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal (Labs, FAE, Sales) and external (customers, partners, suppliers, academic) stakeholders to satisfy the target security requirements.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of the Codasip contributions to project review meetings and deliverables, and jointly write scientific papers. Build joint proof-of-concept demonstrators.
  • Support other adjacent EU co-funded projects.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of recent and relevant experience in firmware development/system-level software development with focus on Security. Previous experience with RISC-V is desirable.
  • MSc or higher academic degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
  • SW skills: C/ C++/ Assembly, and scripting languages (bash, Python).
  • Experience with TEE, TEE application development and Arm TrustZone/Trustzone-M is desirable.
  • Experience with a customer-facing activities and European co-funded project is appreciated.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thinking outside of the box.
  • Excellent communication skills, pragmatic, proactive, self-motivated, team player.
