Do you want to contribute to the backbone of some of the world’s most popular SoCs?  Are you customer-focused and at the same time technically savvy?

As Corporate Application Engineer at Arteris, you will work with an expert team to support and deploy interconnect and memory hierarchy solutions for some of the world’s most sophisticated mobile, telecom, automotive, AI and consumer SoC designs.

Using your strong background in System design, SoC architecture and RTL, and your enthusiasm for technology, you will take part in pre-sales activities to convince potential customers of the technical benefits of our technology.  You will also take part of post sales and support some of the most interesting and advanced customers in the semiconductor industry.

This position requires being able to travel approximately 20% of the time in North America (USA and Canada).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be recognized by customers as an expert on interconnects for System-on-Chips
  • Helping customers get the most out of Arteris NoC technology
  • Provide technical expertise to the sales force to demonstrate to customers the value of the product
  • Interface between customers and R & D to escalate requests for improvements and provide a good understanding of customer needs

Experience Requirements / Qualifications:

Required:

  • Microelectronics engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital design
  • Relevant front-end digital ASIC design experience, from RTL to synthesis
  • You have working knowledge of SoC architecture, including CPU integration, DDR, optimization techniques to achieve power, performance and area goals
  • You are customer focused and enjoy working with them to help them find solutions
  • You have experience in a customer facing role and/or working with a sales team
  • You are highly motivated, excellent problem solver and results-driven
  • You have good presentation and organizational skills

Desired:

  • Knowledge a Functional Safety requirements is a plus
  • Knowledge of UVM
  • Familiarity with the ARM ecosystem (CPU, interfaces, fabrics)
  • Familiarity with cache coherency
