Fall 2023 Intern – Electronics – Research and Development (MS/PhD)

As an Electronics Simulation Research and Development Intern, you will join a team responsible for the R&D of state-of-the-art electromagnetics, circuit and system simulators.

This is a 40-hour per week paid position, starting August 2023 and concluding December 2023.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advance the research of numerical algorithms and high-performance computational software.
• Develop and automate unit and regression tests.
• Learn and employ the best software practices including design and code review.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing MS or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, computational electromagnetics, numerical methods, circuit simulation, device modeling or related technical field.
• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge of scientific programming (e.g. C/C++, Python, Java).
• Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in power electronics and/or semiconductor modeling is a plus but not required.
• AI/ML project experience is a plus but not required.
