What does the job consist of?

The ESG Manager is the internal referent for ESG reporting. He also ensures the consistency of the ESG strategy with Soitec’s overall strategy and coordinates the actions of the different departments on ESG subjects.

Main missions

  • Manage extra-financial reporting (regulatory compliance, quality, budget, etc.). 
  • Contribute to the development of the Group’s ESG strategy.
  • Foster a proactive approach to ESG issues. Monitor regulatory developments in ESG matters and advise the organization on appropriate responses.
  • Organize internal ESG governance bodies.
  • Be the business interface for the implementation of the Data ESG project.
  • Manage the annual sustainable development report project.
  • Develop training and awareness actions within the organization.
  • Establish partnerships with external organizations and groups to support sustainable development.

Requirements & qualifications

  • Diploma from a Business School, Engineering, Political Science or Master’s degree in sustainable development,
  • 8 years of minimum professional experience and a proven interest in issues related to sustainable development 
  • Previous experience working in an industrial environment, ideally in the electronic components sector 
  • Excellent communication and synthesis skills, writing skills,
  • Organizational capacity, reliability and great autonomy in his role
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment and changing regulations,
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a transversal manner 
  • Mastery of the European regulatory framework and its recent developments (CSRD Directive, European Taxonomy, etc.)
  • Bilingual French, English
