Electro-Mech Asmblr Associate

Job Summary:

Our client in Chesapeake, VA is looking for a Electro-Mech Assembler Associate.  This is a long-term contract position.

What You Will Do:

• Under limited supervision, duties include but are not limited to, performing system and sub assembly level builds, upgrades and repairs by following Assembly Instructions and working to drawings.
• Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal direction, read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists and connector pin outs.
• Candidate must have mechanical assembly and electrical assembly experience to include various types of PWB and Component boards.
• Candidate with cable and wire harness experience including laying out wires, lacing, crimping and populating various connectors is recommended.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering irons.
• Knowledge and Understanding of IPC-A-620 Wire and Cable Requirements & J-STD-001 Soldering Requirements is a plus.
