What kinds of tasks are included in the internship?

Electric Locomotive & Service Project As a #FutureWerner, you work as part of the delivery and warranty project for modern Sr3 electric locomotives. Your duties include maintenance of locomotive fault databases and supporting logistics and warranty repairs. Along with the warranty tasks, you get to know the locomotive more deeply than the surface.

You get to work as part of an expert and warranty team in close cooperation with the customer’s representative, and your tasks are modified according to your experience level. Although the work is done with great professionalism and commitment, cheerful humor and a positive atmosphere are part of the daily work.

What is expected of Werner?

As an Electric Locomotive & Service Project #FutureWerner, you are, for example, an electrical engineering university student. You have good IT skills and MS Office skills. The tools stay in your hands and you have, for example, an installation background or otherwise acquired similar skills.

You are brisk by nature and take on tasks independently. You have good communication skills and you communicate fluently in both Finnish and English.

We are looking for Werner, who could start the position in May or at the latest at the beginning of June. The training continues until the end of August. However, it is possible to negotiate the duration. The salary is determined according to the completed studies.

How do you become Werner?

Submit your application by January 31, 2023. 

After sending the application, reserve Monday, February 13th in your calendar, as we will be holding Werner’s search talks at that time, to which we will invite based on the applications in the week before the event.
