Do you want to contribute to the backbone of some of the world’s most popular SoCs? Are you customer focused and at the same time technically savvy?

We are looking for a Director of Product Management & Marketing to drive our industry leading, Cache-Coherent Network on Chip (NoC) product line‘s adoption and proliferation across Arm and RISC-V based semiconductor electronics.

As a Senior Director of Product Management & Marketing at Arteris, you will work with an expert team to define, support and enable deployment on System IP cache-coherent chip interconnect/fabric solutions for some of the world’s most sophisticated automotive, communications, consumer electronics, enterprise computing and industrial SoC designs.

Using your strong commercial and technical background in System design, SoC architecture and Semiconductor IP, and your enthusiasm for technology, you will take part in customer requirements gathering, product line definition, competitive analysis, product roadmap planning and creation, through to product promotion,  launch and sales enablement. This factory and customer-facing role will also include key involvement in pre-sales activities from understanding potential customer needs to articulating the technical benefits of our solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the product line planning, implementation, and management of the Ncore Cache-Coherent NoC and CodaCache Last-level Cache IP product portfolio.
  • You will define product strategy and MRDs, and collaboratively drive cross-functional team to ensure right product definition, delivery, deployment, and proliferation, while ensuring that the product line P&L continues to meet and exceed expectations.
  • You understand the customer’s technical challenges and will work with them to define and evolve the Arteris product line roadmap to ensure mutual success.
  • You will deliver expert advice to the customer on how to leverage Arteris NoC IP in their SoC/ASICs, both for deeply technical up to customer executive audiences
  • You will engage with customers to facilitate Arteris product adoption in some of the leading chips being designed today and planning for future products.
  • You will maintain a working knowledge of industry trends, including standard SoC/ASIC methodologies, protocols, and pragmatic best practices.
  • You will stay on top of the competitive landscape and formulation of strategic that that both 3rd party commercial and in-house products into account.
  • You will work collaboratively with an expert team across Engineering, Sales and Field, Legal, Finance, and the rest of Marketing team, and support 3rd party ecosystem programs.
  • You will lead and grow the product line, including driving product core team meetings, quarterly business reviews, annual planning, and sales enablement.
  • You will ensure operational excellence and leadership team by leveraging processes and frameworks that drive results, effective decision making and clear accountability.
  • You will design and implement product marketing best practices and transformation initiatives to scale and growth the business.
  • You will serve as an industry evangelist and domain thought leader by blogging, engaging with social media, technical media, and speaking/presenting at customer and industry events.
  • You will help plan and drive execution of new offering go-to-market activities, and supporting ecosystem enablement.

This position will require being able to travel up to 20% of the time.

Experience Requirements / Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of customer-facing B2B commercial experience, including MBA or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of Product Management & Marketing with Technical Product Input and P&L responsibilities or oversight, including having owned or executed full lifecycle product management from early adopter engagements to public launches to end-of-sales and end-of-support.
  • 7+ years of direct and indirect team leadership experience
  • 5+ years of cache-coherent SoC/ASICs experience, including strong familiarity with the Arm and RISC-V architectures and ecosystem (CPU, interfaces, System IP).
  • Excellent working knowledge of the semiconductor industry, trends, and drivers.
  • Collaborative skills: As a Senior Director of Product Management & Marketing, you will be collaborating with multiple teams both outside, and across the business. Internally, this will include the Executive teams, Sales, Field Application Engineering, Corporate Application Engineering, Product Engineering, R&D, Legal, Finance, and the rest of Marketing team including other Product Management & Marketing leads, Solution Engineering, Strategic Marketing, Brand and Communication, Digital Marketing, and Analytics teams.   Externally, this will involve customers from deep technical to executive level, and ecosystem partners.
  • Storyteller and presentation skills:  The ability to break down complex concepts into extremely simple and clear terms – comfortable with creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments, from industry conferences to customer briefings to internal teams and executive leadership.   You will frequently be tasked with telling the ‘story’ of Arteris cache-coherent solutions, for various channels, both internally and externally, including technical industry media.
  • Communication skills: The ability to speak, write, and develop extremely simple and clear messaging, collateral, tools and content for customers, partners & sales to a high standard is crucial.   You will frequently have to present new concepts and products, and be heavily involved in creating engaging content that resonates internally with Sales and externally with customers and media.
  • Research skills: A crucial part of being a Senior Director of Product Management & Marketing is leveraging and gaining insight into industry trends, customer requirements and experiences. Analysis of data, reports and customer meetings in order to drive the best strategic ‘win-win’ outcomes will form part of this role, along with strategic triage and ROI based prioritization recommendations.
