Responsibilities

We are looking for a DevSecOps Architect to manage the R&D software development lifecycle and create an automated delivery pipeline that assists in building software more efficiently. The responsibilities of a DevSecOps Architect include assessing, supporting, and implementing high-quality Information Technology architecture.

To be successful as a DevSecOps Architect, you should demonstrate a leadership mindset, solid operational experience, and the ability to problem-solve. The DevSecOps Architect should have exceptional communication skills, be knowledgeable about industry trends, and highly innovative.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the development process for support and operations.
  • Creating communication and feedback channels centered around DevSecOps practices across the organization.
  • Identifying bottlenecks, technical debt and shortcomings.
  • Enhancing CI/CD toolchains to speed up software development and delivery.
  • Designing efficient practices for the DevSecOps team and adopters.
  • Delivering comprehensive best practices to the R&D community.
  • Managing and reviewing technical operations.
  • Guiding the DevOps development team.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 10-15+ Years of Previous experience working on a 24×7 DevSecOps or operations team
  • 10+ years of security experience including implementation of security controls for applications, cloud, and/or DevOps
  • Audit, compliance, and governance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans
  • Skilled in performing risk, business impact, control, and vulnerability assessments
  • Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring, specifically in Virtualized build environments
  • Experience with software delivery lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge in DevOps Platform tooling (Ansible, VMware, Jenkins, and Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Configuration as Code based operations
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux environments
  • Working knowledge of Automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pluses

  • Cloud SaaS experience
  • C++, C# or other high-level language development
  • Jenkins pipeline familiarity
  • VMware operations/automation experience

Position will be based in Colorado Springs, CO or Atlanta, GA.
