We are seeking passionate DevOps Engineers to work in a new team in Flex that will partner with Intel product development teams worldwide to improve the Tools, Flows and Methods we use for software development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to influence and impact the next generation of compute technologies.

This position is part of a global engineering organization supporting next generation engineering innovations, delivering predictable, scalable and high-quality E2E platform stacks and performance benchmarks for critical workloads, platforms and other adjacencies on the Intel roadmap.

Your responsibilities in this position will include (but are not be limited to):

  • Delivering SW using leading, world-class development, delivery, deployment, and release processes, CI/CD methods and tools.
  • Deliver reliable, state of the art CI/CD infrastructure while managing both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Automation is a big part of the job responsibility.
  • The ideal candidate will have solid Hands-On (coding) experience in modern, CI/CD practices/DevOps paradigms, systems engineering best practices and principles, and administration of modern/distributed SCM systems

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree in computer science, computer engineering or other science/engineering related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in administration of modern/distributed SCM systems, such as GitHub. Experience with build management tools – QuickBuild, Jenkins, Jcasc, and Jenkins pipelines. Environment management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet and SaltStack
  • 4+ years of experience with one or more scripting languages, Python, Shell Scripts.
  • End-to-end understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile development, code quality, release engineering.
  • 3+ years of Linux server knowledge. Basic knowledge of Windows servers.
  • Background in infrastructure automation management, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills

This position is not eligible for an Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters’ Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering or other science/engineering related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with cloud technologies, microservices, and Infrastructure.
  • 4+ years of experience with both Pre and Post Si environments.
  • 4+ years of experience with virtualized and containerized environments in a largescale environment (Dockers, Kubernetes).
  • 4+ years of experience in administration of modern/distributed SCM systems, such as GitHub.
  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure automation management and infrastructure monitoring tools.
