Devops Engineer

As a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer at Arteris your role will be to setup, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve engineering solutions and services used by the engineering teams in production.

Technical Skills

1. Automation and CI/CD
   • Mastery of automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
   • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, TCL)
   • Expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
2. Containerization and Orchestration
   • Proficiency with containerization solutions (Docker, Podman)
   • Knowledge about containers orchestrators
     • Kubernetes, OpenShift or Docker Swarm
   • Managing and securing containerized applications
3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
   • Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
   • Ability to manage and provision infrastructure through code
4. Grid & High-Performance Computing
   • Familiar with grid computing systems and distributed systems
   • Knowledge of techniques for managing and scheduling resources in a grid environment
     
5. Cloud Services
   • Good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
   • Managing and securing cloud infrastructure
6. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
   • Exposure to AI/ML model building, model hosting, RAG, and LLMs is a plus
7. Hands-on experience
   • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
   • Strong knowledge of Linux OS (RHEL, SLES)
   • Experience on Git versioning system

Operational Skills

1. Monitoring and Logging
   • Implementing and managing monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
   • Analyzing logs to detect and resolve issues
2. Performance Optimization
   • Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
   • Ensuring high availability and scalability of systems
3. Security Practices
   • Implementing security best practices and compliance
   • Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

Collaborative Skills

1. Communication and Collaboration
   • Fluent in French and in English
   • Good written and verbal communication skills
   • Agile methodologies and tools (Kanban/Scrum)
2. Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking
   • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks
   • Analyzing complex systems to find and fix issues
