Data Engineer

Within the “Information Services” group, the “CIM” (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) department is responsible for setting up the IT tools used by production and its support services in order to increase efficiency and reliability.

We want to strengthen our team with a Data Engineer Manufacturing.

Under the responsibility of Soitec’s CIM manager, you will join a motivated and highly specialized team in manufacturing. As a manufacturing reporting engineer, your missions will be:

• Help business users to write specifications
• Propose technical solutions with the support of IT experts, in compliance with company guidelines and technical best practices
• Design DataWareHouse data models and business Datasets
• Développer (SQL, Business Objects, Bodi, Talend, PowerBI) et tester
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (Git)
• Update documentation (specification, operation)
• Support users: support for level 3 incidents and change requests
• Interact with the developers of the DATA Service Center: validate their work (specification, code quality review, IT recipe) and facilitate the interface with our internal customers on the specification phases, reception and support for the use of new tools.

Your working time is divided between RUN activities (support, change) and project activities to achieve the roadmap of the service, always in very strong interaction with users and with the aim of meeting business needs as well as possible.

You will be accompanied in your mission:

• by internal or external technical experts (architects, technical solution specialists)
• by a Service Center, on the front line for the resolution of incidents, the implementation of changes and the management of new projects.
