Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for answering all customers’ inquiries in the most expeditious way, regarding order entry, order maintenance, expediting and pricing.
  • Generate sales order for all customers and distributors, and verify against sales acknowledgement.
  • Process all incoming requests. Verify materials, ship dates, address etc. Process and verify shipments in the most economical way. Follow up and co-ordinate with work center to ensure on time delivery and fulfil order reschedule per customer request.
  • Process all requests for sample orders, and provide other information needed by customers and distributors
  • Assist customers & distributors in Samtec’s product line, catalogue and available services
  • Assist Customer Service Officer in whatever projects or assignments that are needed to ensure that customer needs are promptly met.
  • Any other job related duties as assigned by management.
  • Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

Required Experience :

  • Relevant field of experience is preferred

Preferred Education:

  • Diploma in relevant skill
  • On the job experience can replace or supplement educational requirements
