Custom Physical Design Layout Engineer, I

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the schematic design team, under the supervision of senior members of the team, to design complex layout for mixed signal and analog circuits
• Build towards the floor planning capability of high-speed SerDes architectures in cutting edge semiconductor technology, including the latest 3nm technode
• Develop advanced debugging skills to deliver quality layout, including assisting in closing Design Rule Checks, Layout vs Schematic, Antenna, Design for Manufacturing, Electrical Rule Check, etc
• Work with senior engineers to ensure layout meets reliability and spec requirements (Post Layout Extraction, Electromigration, IR Drop, etc)
• Provide input to help develop software automation flows/scripts to optimize workflow

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s of Electrical/Computer Engineering, EngSci, or equivalent
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and self-starter with a drive to constantly learn and consistently improve outputs
• Take pride in delivering quality work and responsibility toward  project ownership
• Bonus points if you have worked in recent FiFet technologies (7nm, 5nm, etc)
