Position Summary:

Perforce Software is looking for a tech-savvy, creative Corporate Communications Manager to join our team. As a Corporate Communications Manager, you’ll help us continue to build upon Perforce’s strong community culture. You’ll manage the corporate communications plan and implement internal and external communications that promote and reflect our corporate values and mission.
The ideal candidate will be an execution machine, team-oriented, an effective communicator, and appreciate a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with executives of the company, as well as public relations firms. You will ensure consistency in tone and language across all corporate-level communication. And, if you have a love for technology, all the better.

Responsibilities:

  • Concepts and writes impeccable copy for corporate website, email, social media platforms, video scripts, corporate events, press releases, etc.
  • Inspires excitement through creative internal and external messaging.
  • Participates in the corporate communication strategic planning process and message development.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organization through internal and external communication.
  • Oversees the workflow of corporate communications across the enterprise.
  • Collaborates with designers on the look, tone, and feel of new content.
  • Proofreads and edits presentations, blog posts, and other miscellaneous external and internal projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a professional copywriter (corporate or agency environment)
  • Proven ability to proofread and copyedit, strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with a penchant for consistent processes.
  • Ability to tell the story and structure the content to compel the reader to action.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Responsive to feedback.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
