Accountant (HR Finance Support)

Job summary:

In this role within Altair Engineering France, under the responsibility of the Financial Controller France and Spain, you will be the sole Accountant and will also support the HR department.

The position is based in Antony.

Missions:

Finance

• Entering bank entries and reconciliation
• Support of the  Financial Controller France and Spain  during one-off missions
• Management of staff expense reports,
• Updating simple dashboards,
• Monitor timesheets on certain key projects

Administrative

• Respond to requests from employees and customers
• Update office policies as needed
• Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, according to instructions
• Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents

RH / Straw

• Help with the preparation and control of 200 monthly payrolls in conjunction with the HR team under the supervision of the HR Manager
• Development, implementation and operation of specific HR reports allowing the monitoring of workforce, indicators of the HR situation and personnel costs
• Participation in the implementation of HR procedures
• Implementation of analytical accounting in HR (staff movements, professions and assignments, etc.)
• Participation in personnel administration
• Monitoring and control of the payment of daily allowances: CPAM and welfare organization
• Management of disability files and long-term sick leave with the welfare organization (constitution of pension files, etc.)
• Respond to DARES and INSEE surveys

Your profile:

• Accounting/Finance diploma (Bac+2, Bac+3)
• 2/3 years of experience in an international company
• You are proficient in Excel and have a good knowledge of Word
• Knowledge of tools such as Netsuite and Silae RH would be a plus
• You have good team spirit and analytical skills
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, rigor, taste for numbers and sense of organization
• Fluency in spoken and written English and French is mandatory
