Catia Designer

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting packaging/layout studies.
• Developing updatable parametric CATIA V5 2D drawings and 3D models using TEMA specified design process.
• Developing surface for sheet metal components: including manufacturing too requirements to meet TEMA standards.
• Preparing 2D drawings as required to define engineering intent.
• Checking data for accuracy/integrity, making repairs to achieve TEMA requirements for tangency, gap and content.
• Preparing and negotiating engineer/designer communication and open issue sheets; return completed data to TEMA Engineer with clear status report for open issues.

Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 60 mo. experience in the job offered and/or as a Project Lead/Engineering Lead.

Academic program or experience must have included:

• CATIA V5;
• Interior Trim Design & Development;
• Master Section; and
• GD&T.
