CAE Engineer

Job Summary:

Our client in Auburn Hills, MI is looking for a CAE Engineer.  This is a Contract position.

What You Will Do:

• Conducting analytical studies using FEA on automotive and other structural components.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• Experience with the following software is preferred: HyperWorks (pre and post processing), Optistruct or Nastran, Abaqus, nCode Design Life and LS-Dyna.
• The ideal candidate must have the ability to assess product designs and provide feedback to the design team for enhancing product performance while reducing mass.

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Automotive, or Civil Engineering
• 2-7 years of related experience
• Strong communication, analytic, and organizational skills.
• Experience with manufacturing (metal stamping and casting) and/or CFD is a plus.
