Pragmatic are looking for a mid-level Business Development professional. Do you have experience in selling development projects for electronic products? If so, we would love to speak with you! With support from the sales engineer and/or the technical team, you will be promoting Pragmatic foundry offering low-cost flexible integrated circuits, seeking business opportunities and closing deals which will shape the world of tomorrow. We are looking for someone who can work hybrid or full time in the office and is open to regular overseas travel.

Key tasks

  • Prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities for PragmatIC foundry business.
  • Generating and driving new/ existing accounts to successful engagements.
  • Selling and positioning PragmatIC foundry and design services directly to customers.
  • Providing quotations for products and services and lead the negotiation process.
  • Manage all aspects of contract negotiations from commercial to legal framework with support from our own PragmatIC legal team.
  • Supporting marketing activities at selected industry events by coordinating and hosting customers meetings.
  • Assimilate industry and customer requirements to feed to the product marketing team.
  • Coordinating support activities associated with the assigned accounts to address customer needs and business objectives.
  • Regular overseas travel to develop specific market segments.

Qualifications and training

  • Bachelor, master or PhD in physics or electronics
  • Experience working in the semiconductor industry is a strong advantage (but not a prerequisite)

Skills and experience

Required

  • Good track record delivering revenue growth and market share
  • Proven experience in Business Development roles with track record of closing deals
  • Good knowledge and experience with account-based selling for a relevant industry
  • Able to work independently and is self-motivated with strong drive to win
  • Team player with the ability to work across diverse cross-functional teams
  • Ability to create and maintain strong/solid relationships with customers
  • Ability to interpret customer (technical and business) related requirements
  • Willingness to work in a fast-moving environment

Desirable

  • Good understanding of semiconductor process technology
