You will join the field HR team as an Associate HR Business Partner aligned to the business supporting the Cadence IT and R&D Operations teams. This role is intended for an HR professional with 3+ years of client-facing experience. In this role, you will partner with the HR team to ensure our Cadence employees experience the best that Cadence HR has to offer. This will require client-facing, problem solving, analytical and execution skills, along with domain expertise and empathy. You’ll focus on Cadence employees, providing timely responses, sharing knowledge and feedback with fellow team members, and balancing the individual needs with Cadence’s philosophy, principles and available resources. Additionally, you will be responsible for coaching and consulting with colleagues and managers, collaborating with Central HR functions on programs and projects, and working as part of ONE Cadence team.

You’ll be an advocate of Cadence’s culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure all people decisions are based on data. Whether coaching your clients on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our Cadence employees, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help employees understand how people decisions get made.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to develop and execute talent strategies in the client groups
  • Partner with business leadership to facilitate effective organizational change
  • Lead the implementation of HR programs and solutions in the business including Merit, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Top Talent, Transfers/Mobility, etc
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to address talent, compensation and benefits issues affecting client groups
  • Provide business specific feedback to the HR COEs on design and improvements
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance employee experience and partner with management to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Coach employees and managers regarding application of Human Resources policies and procedures to specific circumstances encountered in the course of business
  • Partner with legal team on ER/ legal matters
  • Independently lead projects/ programs end to end
  • Deliver process and system training to the business groups as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in HR or Business
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, including HR experience supporting large teams
  • Strong Excel and Data Analytics skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience as an HRBP, organization development, people programs, preferred

The annual salary range for California is $80,500 to $149,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
