Apprenticeship – Materials Engineer

As a Materials Engineer, you will join Laurence’s “Materials Engineering” team. The “Material Engineering” team takes care of managing the suppliers of materials that meet the needs of our customers and we intervene throughout the life of the product. During this 3-year work-study program, your missions will evolve over the course of your school years but also according to your autonomy.

The main missions of this work-study program are as follows:

• Structuring the quality documents necessary for an evaluation for new products (PPAP = Production Part Approval Process)
• Studies of the prerequisites for the qualification of a new material
• Capitalization, structuring and comparison of process flows, control plans, specifications and supplier metrics
• Discovery of a high-tech clean room environment
• Evaluations of new products in pairs with the tutor
• Possibility of making assessments in complete autonomy

In addition, you will also have the opportunity to participate in supplier calls in order to improve your skills on these subjects.
