What does the job consist of?

As a work-study manager in document engineering, you will join the company’s Facilities team. The facilities group manages industrial infrastructure, maintenance monitoring and even company performance levels.

Your skills in document management (classification and archiving) will be at the heart of your mission. This is an expertise that we wish to develop within this center, and you will become the reference point on this subject. You will of course be accompanied by your tutor, your manager and the various employees of the company with whom you will have the opportunity to work. 

The different centers of the facilities include tens of thousands of documents and deal with subjects relating to electricity, chemistry, gas or even water and Soitec’s work. You will need to be proactive and succeed in collaborating with all stakeholders in order to achieve the following missions: 

  • Assistance in drafting specifications for the choice of document management platforms
  • Administration of these platforms
  • Inventory & listing of all documents necessary for the operation of the service
  • Inventory of existing documents
  • Animation of workshops with the different facility professions
  • Writing procedures and document management processes  

The impact of this work-study program will be significant for the service and professional opportunities may be possible at the end of the mission.

Requirements & qualifications

You are looking for a 2-year work-study program and you have archiving/filing skills or an interest in quality and continuous improvement. You are preparing a bac+5 diploma in a master’s or engineering school.

You are interested in a high-tech industrial environment, you know how to be proactive and you want to participate in the implementation of a meaningful project for the team.
