SUMMARY

A unique role that enables the successful candidate to work on the entire EDA product lifecycle, from development to deployment. Product Engineering involves development & validation of EDA products, gaining in-depth domain expertise in the process. The Product Engineer is expected to evolve into an expert tools user, bridging the gap between customer field activities and R&D.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop hands-on technical expertise on the ANSYS semiconductor products portfolio
Conceptualize and develop product features
Work closely with R&D throughout the whole product lifecycle
Review and improve product requirements specifications
Run benchmarks, create and review test specifications/cases, develop and maintain automated regression suites, analyze and report defects
Deliver on schedule scripts to facilitate productivity improvements
Develop and deliver internal and customer collateral including demos, presentations and workshops
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Shell scripting
Experience with Linux platforms
Ability to learn quickly, understand complex systems and to work closely with others
Ability to complete high-quality work on time
Communicate clearly with others regarding project status and risks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated skills in the following areas are a plus:0-2 years of experience in RFIC/analog design and simulation
Knowledge of microelectronics theory and basic understanding of integrated circuit design flow concepts
Programming experience in C++ (or Python)
Experience with source code version control systems
Passion to learn and deploy new technologies
Ability for minimal travel
