What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and refine 128Gbps PAM4 SERDES IP.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of analog and mixed-signal circuit designers on design and methodology.
- Work on full custom analog/mixed-signal circuit design, custom layout, circuit simulations, and post-silicon characterization.
- Investigate reliability and gain a deep understanding of silicon IP design requirements.
- Ensuring our designs meet the full specifications of the protocols being supported.
- Contribute to next-generation high-speed (>200Gbps) analog integrated circuits in the latest FinFET process nodes.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently pursuing an MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, in the 2nd year of your degree.
- Industry experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in designing high-speed wireline analog circuits (CTLE, VGA, SST Drivers, ADCs).
- Experience in simulation using tools like hspice, finesim, XA.
- Experience in modelling tools like systemVerliog, MATLAB/Simulink
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and TCL.
- Competence with CAD tools including schematic, layout, simulation, DRC, LVS, PEX.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Program Facts:
- Program Length: Minimum 6 months; preferably 12+ months.
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA
- Working Model: Hybrid (3 days/week in office minimum)
- Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Start Date: September 2025
