A&MS Layout Design Engineer

This role involves analyzing various mixed signal techniques for dynamic and static power reduction, performance enhancement and area reduction. You’d leverage your strong understanding of circuit simulation and circuit layout as well as knowledge of bipolar, CMOS, passive structure, and interconnect failure modes

Main responsibilities

• Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
• Determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
• Define module interfaces for simulation.
• Contribute to the development of multi-dimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
•  Evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use.
• Analyze equipment to establish operation data, conducts experiment al tests, and evaluates results.

Key Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor´s degree in Microelectronics or Computer Science
• Has a strong desire to learn and explore new technologies.
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Prior knowledge and/ or experience of CAD tool development
