Some people, like myself, had guessed that the recovery would start in the second half of 2023. From what I am seeing today it will more likely be the second half of the second half of 2023 or maybe even Q1 2024.
I think TSMC is ahead of the curve. Forecast for 2023 is -10% revenue growth. Today they are at -4% so Q4 2023 will have to be really bad to hit -10%, right? I think TSMC Q4 will actually be much better than predicted so the TSMC recovery has definitely started. Next year TSMC should be back in double digits ( 10%+ growth).
