Manufacturing Technician

• Perform optomechanical assemblies and inspections for a complex optical product.
• Perform optical and mechanical alignments on the product during the aforesaid processes.
• Keep accurate records for production data and measurement results.
• Responsible for the gluing, clean handling and curing of production units.
• Responsible for the inspection of optics parts with scopes, UV/bright lights.
• Responsible for fiber polishing and inspection.
• Highlight issues and provide suggestions to improve production processes.

• 2 years’ experience as a technician working on assembly or inspections at a fiber and optics manufacturer.
• Able to follow cleaning and operating instructions meticulously.
• Assembly experience at a fiber/optics manufacturing line will be an added advantage.
• Availability to work during Swing shift is preferred but not a must.
• Applicants must have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
