Job Description and Requirements:

Responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications. Collaborates with customers, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assesses available technologies, and recommends solution choices. Provides business exploration and programming expertise along with the design and development of business applications within an assigned business unit. Formulates and defines application scope and priorities while creating and modifying procedures to solve business issues. Prepares detailed specifications for configuration execution or writing of programs and designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs. Monitors and reports statuses of project activities identify issues that inhibit meeting project goals and implements corrective actions.

Good inter-personal, verbal, and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Able to work autonomously and in teams to create and meet schedules. Possesses sound analytical, problem-solving, conceptual skills, and project management skills. Has exceptional technical understanding, with hands-on experience managing systems development in new computing architectures and environments. Experience in business application design, development, installation, and modification in Salesforce environment is must.

Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of IT related experience (specific/details below). Possesses a full understanding of specialization area plus working knowledge of one other related areas. Independently resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways on a regular basis. Customarily exercises independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Performs in project leadership role. Contributes to complex aspects of a project. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is independent and collaborative in nature. Provides regular updates to manager on project status. Represents the organization on business unit and/or company-wide projects. Guides more junior peers with aspects of their job. Frequently networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

Specific Technical Skills requirement: –

  • Should have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience exclusively in Salesforce Development.
  • Should have worked on end-to-end Salesforce projects & Community implementation.
  • Should have hands-on on Salesforce Skills like Apex Classes, Test Classes, Triggers, Visual Force Pages, Workflow & Approvals, Flows, Process Builder, Reports & Dashboards, Package Installations, Roles, Profiles, Email Templates, Email Services and Data Loader.
  • Experience in Aura Lightning, LWC, JavaScript and JQuery is mandatory.
  • Functional knowledge on Sales, Service and Community clouds is must.
  • Experience in using efficient methodologies and continuous deployment tools such as Copado or Github.
  • Salesforce.com certifications: Aspirants with Administrator/Platform Developers, Sales/Service Consultant certifications are preferred.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities: –

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce applications, customizations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Experience in Live SalesForce.com coding (development) – Apex and Visualforce, Salesforce Integration, Maintenance/enhancements, and the Lightning Component Framework.
  • Proficient in the areas like Lightning platform, lightning web Platform developer, APEX, LWC, Salesforce API and webservices.
  • Create/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, APEX, Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, XML, JSON, Visualforce, JavaScript, SOAP and REST techniques.
  • Experience in intuitive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript and JQuery technologies.
  • Should be able to develop Reports, Dashboards, reporting snapshots, and having expertise on other reporting tools like Tableau CRM, Einstein analytics & PowerBi would be a plus.
  • Experience with Enterprise Application platforms such as DocuSign, Coveo, Event Monitoring, OwnBackup tools is a plus.
  • Actively monitor on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps and applications available on the Salesforce AppExchange.
  • Perform technical root cause analysis and define corrective action for real time issues.
  • Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.
  • Salesforce API integration using REST, SOAP will be added advantage.
  • Essentially partner with different technology teams to define and implement efficient, scalable, and diligent technical solutions using Salesforce methodologies.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
  • Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform.
  • Any Knowledge management or Unified search(eg: Coveo) or KCS(Case deflection) know-how/experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
