Revenue Analyst
Perforce develops DevOps tools that improve software quality and security as well as team productivity for several of the world’s leading companies, such as PIXAR, CD Projekt Red, NASA, Verizon, Honda and NVIDIA.
Position Summary:
The Revenue Analyst will work cross-functionally with Sales Operations, FP&A, Revenue Operations, and our General Managers to support strategic planning and renewal optimization. This is a high-impact role on the global Financial Operations team with rapidly changing priorities. The role will work with large amounts of data to discover and solve real issues impacting our internal customers and create narratives on operational and business process trends.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Sales, Finance and Operations leadership teams and proactively share regular KPI updates actionable insights and recommendations for improvements as it pertains to bookings (new and renewals)
- Support renewal bookings forecast activities
- Assist in core operational tasks, including database maintenance or enhancements, industry analyst, customer tier analysis, and assisting with customer success journey
- Perform ASP, market, tier, industry, and customer analysis
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of a forecast including renewal targets, retention rates, and revenue across all lines of the business
- Simplify and optimize reports, making consumption relevant for leadership
- Responsible for data integrity – Proper SKU’s used for renewals, retention and renewal forecasting
Requirements:
- BA/BS/MBA in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Legal, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
- 2+ years of relevant experience in positions that require analysis, working with large data sets, and reporting financial results
- Understanding of accounting & finance
- Strong attention o detail and the ability to self-start
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Excel and PowerBI experience a plus
