Daniel is joined by Steve Babureck, executive vice president of strategy and president of Soitec USA. He joined the company in 2011 and held various positions including head of the finance department of the solar business in the United States, head of strategic marketing, and head of Group investor Relations in San Diego and Singapore.
Steve shares some of his motivation with Dan regarding taking on the role of president of Soitec USA. He describes the worldwide footprint Soitec has developed to deliver engineered substrates to a wide range of customers and applications. He explains how the company works with fabs, fabless organizations, system integrators and end customers across many applications that includes low power AMS, edge processing, silicon photonics, and RF for many markets including AI, automotive and data centers.
Steve explains that developing closer relationships with system integrators, fabless companies and end customers in the US will help to expand Soitec’s worldwide footprint and increase the company’s leadership in the development and deployment of many forms of engineered substrates.
