  • In your new role, you will qualify components from manufacturers and suppliers in your material field and maintain long-term relationships with them.
  • In collaboration with manufacturers, you will further develop existing technologies and manufacturing processes and promote innovations based on the existing requirements of the development areas.
  • You actively advise the development team on the selection of components, manufacturers and technologies based on the existing development and manufacturing requirements, and you understand how to manage the tension between innovative technologies and manufacturing requirements.
  • You define a material field strategy, implement it, and support the auditing of manufacturers worldwide as a technical expert.
  • You ensure consistent complaint management for manufacturer-related errors and drive sustainable error correction.
  • In addition, you will work across locations in teams to synchronize business unit locations and promote network-based knowledge exchange.

Here’s how to convince us:

  • Education:  We look forward to getting to know you if you have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or further training as a Mechanical Engineering Technician.
  • Experience and skills: 
    • You have relevant professional experience in the field of mechanical production (stamping, bending, forming, progressive die) as well as in common tool technologies, mold making and the production of complex industrial housings, e.g. for industrial PCs.
    • Furthermore, you have experience in coating and electroplating technology for housing components.
    • You are familiar with typical processes in the manufacture of tool-related components.
    • Furthermore, you bring prior knowledge of quality methods (Six Sigma, SPC, 8D, VDA audits, production release procedures) as well as in the qualification processes of components.
  • Working style: You work in a team-oriented, independent and goal-oriented manner.
  • Language skills:  To help you navigate your international environment, you have very good German and good English skills.
