Job Description:
Position 1: Module Technician Level 2 within Technical Engineering Group – TEST
- Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training.
- Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improving processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
- The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certified levels and is in charge of updating training manuals.
- May participate in safety forums and the Emergency Response Team as required.
- Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.
- High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.
Position 2: Module Technician Level 2 within Technical Engineering Group – ASSEMBLY FINISH
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and installs/assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and rough sketches or drawings.
- Performs setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, and coordinates with supplier for service and repairs where needed.
- Monitors and analyzes all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool/module related issues.
- Creates reports of system failures, updates existing specs, and creates new specs that supports overall equipment maintenance/performance.
- Works with Module Engineering to execute experiments and equipment configuration changes, supports data collection activities, and generally completes tasks per published procedures.
- Supports Engineering with module equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation that will meet or improve module availability and performance targets preventing future excursions.
- During factory ramps, works with module engineering and construction teams to ensure tools are installed and/or converted per designs.
Qualifications:
- Possess diploma degree (technical college) or higher technical in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation or similar discipline.
- Relevant work experience is a plus.
- English level at pre-intermediate proficiency or above.
- Pay attention to details and discipline.
- Be careful, responsible for work and mission delivered.
- Able to work effectively as an individual and in a team environment.
- Willing to continue working on 12-hour shift (48 hours per week).
