Job Description:

We create designs for the majority of Intel’s products that service server, client, chipset, modem, and IoT markets. We supply IP to both internal design teams and external customers. The Toronto design team is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of building the industry’s next-generation products, with a focus on high-speed SerDes.

Role Overview

This role is focused on post-silicon SerDes design validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure high-quality design
  • Characterize, debug, and tune SerDes IP in our state-of-the-art lab
  • Drive development of Python-based GUI software for SerDes configuration, debug, and testing
  • Own Auto Rob platform (robotic arm-based testing environment) for volume-based validation of IPs

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration Sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good fundamental knowledge of electronics and digital hardware concepts
  • Ability to assist with the verification of digital hardware blocks used in mixed-signal designs
  • Strong scripting and/or software development skills, including Python and/or Perl
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
