AI/ML are both relatively new and there is going to be a learning curve with numerous failures in misapplication and waste on a large scale. Applying AI/ML will be more like a game of chess than checkers with many people and companies making wrong moves for the technologies. In the near future, many custom applications will be developed with specific and well developed and very profitable uses. At this point in time, many businesses and people are getting involved in a world they have little understanding or skill sets in. AI/ML will be very profitable for those that develop specific uses for it. Developing ways of effectively and profitably using AI/ML will require vision, planning and skill. This will become a separate field unto itself and is in its very infancy now. AI/ML is a whole new concept, and the learning curve of effective and profitable uses is as immature as the technology itself.
