Digitimes reports that there is an increase of urgent, small piecemeal orders, as everyone scrambled to ship goods before tariffs. But I think this would be the new norm even after.

With many companies trying to not only move manufacturing, but also trying something new, there will be shorter product runs, and a lot of experimentation.

It been years since someone as large as Realtek, Silicon Motion or Mediatek seriously worked through distributors, and brokers, but they may now opt to at least give low-end to them. Too many insubstantial clients for sales to chase.
