About the Role:
In this role, you will join the Signal Processing Team, focusing on research and development of algorithms for the next generation Wi-Fi technology. In Ceva we develop state of the art Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 8 transceivers with the most advanced signal processing and communication technologies such as: MIMO-OFDMA and MIMO-MU, Beamforming, Sensing, Ranging, Localization and other.
Responsibilities:
You will work in an agile team, responsible for providing signal processing algorithm solutions: starting from an abstract idea through detailed fixed-point link simulation. You will cooperate closely with the implementation, verification and lab validation teams to create together a high-performance Wi-Fi transceiver. Your key responsibilities will be:
Algorithms specification for transceiver synchronization and demodulation including AGC, time and frequency synchronization, channel estimation, clock and frequency offset compensation, equalization/MIMO detection, channel decoding, …
- Algorithm performance analysis by link simulations
- Fixed-point specifications for RTL implementations
- Bit and cycle accurate modelling
- Support RTL Verification and Lab Validation
- Keep in touch with the latest developments in the standards
- Application of patents on the most distinguished ideas
Requirements
- PhD or Engineer in Electrical Engineering with knowledge in Signal Processing
- Strong background in Algorithms design for Digital Communications
- Experienced in Matlab
- Experienced in link-level simulation including fixed-point specification and bit-accurate modelling
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexibility and innovative thinking
Advantages:
- Experience in WLAN IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth, 802.15.4, or other relevant wireless communication standards
- Experience in Signal Processing for design of MIMO OFDM systems – is highly desired
