Application Team Leader
Website Aniah
About the job
Aniah is transforming analogue and mixed-signal design with a unique approach to analysis at transistor and whole-chip level. Our solution, which can be used by all designers, detects 100% of electrical errors in just a few minutes. In this way, we enable designers to reduce the time spent on the least creative part of their work: implementing rule-based circuits to comply with dozens of constraints such as low power consumption, ESD, analogue power-down signalling, and so on.
Aniah therefore expects to revolutionise analogue design methodologies to meet the challenge of increasing complexity. How will it do this? By detecting errors as early as possible in the design chain to improve quality, time-to-market and productivity for our customers.
Our start-up:
Aniah is a start-up based in Grenoble, in the heart of the French Alps, in the world semiconductor cluster, as well as in Taiwan. It employs around twenty highly talented engineers, ranging from algorithms to electrical engineering.
The recent reception given to the latest version of our product by the big names in the market has been extremely positive. This keen interest on their part means that we are already strengthening our customer support team. In this context, we are looking for an applications engineer with solid experience in analogue/mixed-signal design, keen to participate in the construction of an innovative project and interested in the service provided to designers from different backgrounds.
Your tasks:
You will be in direct contact with the major global players in microelectronics design. As such, from the very first discussions, you’ll be able to convince them of the benefits of our solution for their entire value chain.
During product evaluation meetings with future users (designers) or CAD Managers, you will provide technical answers to the questions raised, as well as reassuring them about the ease of use and integration of the tool.
Similarly, as an extension of your collaboration with these customers, you remain the first point of contact for technical support, assisting them in their day-to-day use, in particular through training, but also by resolving any potential bugs encountered.
Finally, as a team leader, you will provide your expertise to support your colleagues as they develop their skills, and you will challenge them on a daily basis to achieve their collective objectives.
As part of your career within our teams, we will consider together 2 possible career paths, either towards a functional and hierarchical management role for the team, or towards a role as technical expert (techlead) and referent for our OneCheck solution.
Your profile:
– Initial training in semiconductor or microelectronics engineering.
– Solid experience in the analog ASIC design cycle
– Experience with integrated circuit layout tools (Virtuoso)
– Experience with analogue and/or mixed-signal simulators.
– Knowledge of Shell and Unix scripting (e.g. Tcl, Python or Perl).
– Experience of physical verification tools (Calibre PERC, DRC, LVS, and xRC/xACT) is a plus.
– Enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn.
– Autonomous and easily adaptable
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English and French).
The Job:
- The job is based in Grenoble with occasional teleworking.
- Possibility of full remote depending on the candidate’s profile and location.
- Salary to be discussed according to profile.
