There is a rumor that TSMC and Micron will work closer in the future.(possibly in packaging)
KC Hsu, former TSMC executive, Joined Micron in 2015 and became Micron Taiwan Chairman in 2019.
He went back to TSMC in Nov. 2021 as head of Integrated Interconnect & Packaging.
