HSINCHU, Taiwan, R.O.C. – Nov. 26, 2025 - TSMC (TWSE: 2330, NYSE: TSM) held its 2025 Supply Chain Management Forum on November 25, recognizing supplier partners for their many contributions over the past year. TSMC acknowledged its supply chain for their collaboration, which supported the research and development, optimization and capacity expansion of 2-nanometer (2nm) and other advanced process and packaging technologies. These partnerships also facilitated TSMC’s global expansion, enabling it to deliver leading technology and manufacturing services to its global customer base.
The forum, themed "Net-zero: Transforming Supply Chains for a Greener Planet," featured a keynote by Dr. Chris Horng-Dar Lin, TSMC Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Dr. Lin discussed using artificial intelligence to achieve operational excellence and sustainable outcomes, promoting an innovative future with shared value. To enhance supplier sustainability efforts and recognize their achievements, TSMC invited award-winning suppliers in green manufacturing to explore energy-saving innovations for next-generation process equipment.
Breakout sessions on information technology, facilities, and advanced packaging we also held to encourage discussion and exchange. Regarding facilities, TSMC rigorously prioritizes construction site safety, integrating contractor safety records as a critical selection criterion. TSMC officially issued its “Construction Site Safety at TSMC” statement, reaffirming safety as the paramount concern for all construction projects. TSMC is committed to establishing stringent separation between construction and supervision, and will deploy international third-party expert teams on-site to review and enhance safety mechanisms across awareness, behavior, and environment. During breakout discussions, our new fab engineering and corporate ESH (Environmental, Safety and Health) managements developed principles for strengthening safety management. As part of this initiative, two suppliers, recognized for Excellent Safety Performance in New Fab Construction at this year's TSMC Excellent Performance Award, were invited to share their safety management experiences. This approach aims to drive continuous improvement in supply chain quality and promote sustainable industrial development.
“It's gratifying to see the outstanding contributions and professionalism our supply chain partners have demonstrated once again, especially in the face of significant challenges." said TSMC Senior Vice President and Deputy Co-COO, Dr. Cliff Hou. “Our close collaboration has been instrumental in maintaining our ability to consistently deliver to customers. Looking ahead, we believe that by staying prepared, agile, and united, we can continue to strengthen supply chain resilience, drive innovation, and accelerate our net-zero goals. This collective effort ensures consistent quality for future advanced process technologies and contributes to a sustainable future.”
During the event, TSMC Executive Vice President and Co-COO, Y.P. Chyn, Senior Vice President and Deputy Co-COO, Dr. Cliff Hou, and Senior Vice President Lora Ho presented the 2025 TSMC Excellent Performance Awards, recognizing suppliers for their outstanding performance in driving improvements and efficiencies across the supply chain and related industries. This year, the award evaluation placed greater emphasis on performance in construction safety, sustainability, and localization. TSMC also established a standalone award for construction safety performance management, further supporting our safety management principles.
