Semis, Money and Investing

Well-known member
I invest for a living and write to try and make the world a better place. I have learned that transparency and low cost, efficient, automated, adaptive education/training are the keys to a brighter future. This applies to countries, societies, families and individually. Semis are the key to making both these things happen. Below is an interesting article about a combination of semis, money, intelligent, creative people and money. Investing should be about the most efficient way of application of resources. Below is but one interesting application of smart people, money and technology. Unfortunately, some of the money earned is from taking advantage of temporary aberrations and not efficient application of resources to a task. Opinions and thoughts on this welcome and solicited.

Sadly our government has done much to reduce transparency and backed policies and groups that have dramatically raised the price of education. The government has proven they rather waste money on a failing military machine and building the world's largest prison/police state with as many prisoners as the police states of Chine and Russia combined. Maximizing the value of the people and giving them accurate information are keys to going forward. Maximizing the value of ourselves and every individual through everyday interaction should be the priorities of individuals and governments. This is how problems are solved and challenges met.

hist78, I've been trying to put something like this together for a while. I already have assembled a few key people and hope to build at least an informal structure. I'm up over 24% for the year. There are a few of these structures already floating around and an associate is one of them. They consistently beat the market, but not by nearly the margin these people are. I have built my own custom program and a relational data base specialist has offered to work it over for me as soon as I can get him enough numbers. Thanks for the info, it's highly appreciated as is all your writings.
