The coming battle for domination of AI has heated up with Amazon and Microsoft Gluon to battle Google's TensorFlow. These are both made easy to use open source AI tools. This contest should drive innovation at an even faster rate than it is now, further adding to the "Great Acceleration". This should further drive the use of semis, mems and sensors ever deeper into every aspect of our lives by driving the automation of everything from our houses, medical, finance to the work place in ways we haven't even considered. The world is about to undergo yet another dramatic change built on semis and the nanotechnology they have created. This will present a whole new set of opportunities and dangers as has any great change. The difference this time is we will end up with a presence more intelligent and agile than ourselves. This trend is feeding on itself at an ever increasing rate, leading to an ever increasing rate of "Acceleration". Helping everyone tap into this change should be a priority among individuals, political and business leaders for the good of all.
I'm wondering if investors have any idea how much silicon AI is going to consume over the next ten years? In my opinion AI will touch most every chip in some way, shape, or form and that means performance and storage will be at a premium.

Dan, the silicon is going to extend from the edge to the data center and everything in between is massive amounts and variety. I have worked the process end to end from a physical plant and data distribution perspective for almost forty years starting with the very early ATM networks and have just seen progress just pick up speed with no turning back. Physical plant data distribution was my specialty for most of this time.
