llmda Spectra ensures product documents remain consistent with design data and slashes the time to create documents by up to 90%

SANTA CLARA, CA — May 15, 2026 — llmda.ai today announced the general availability of llmda Spectra™, a new product that creates accurate technical documentation directly from design artifacts using structured templates and hardware-aware AI.

llmda.ai is developing a comprehensive AI-powered fabric to address a latent flaw in all embedded system development: design artifacts becoming inconsistent over time or between teams in the development workflow. The gap between product requirements and product development artifacts has been a key reason for schedule slips. llmda’s focus is on ensuring data consistency and identifying inconsistencies as soon as they occur, thus eliminating the hardware/software integration or chip bring-up bottleneck.

llmda Spectra is the first product in a series of products that will leverage llmda AI Fabric, which keeps the entire development workflow in sync. llmda Spectra addresses a familiar problem in engineering organizations: valuable technical knowledge exists, but it is scattered across specifications, design notes, interface descriptions, emails, knowledge repositories, or in the design itself.

Turning that material into usable documentation is typically slow, repetitive, and difficult to standardize. llmda Spectra addresses this challenge with a documentation platform that combines templates, source management, automated section generation, collaboration, sign-off and content management into one environment.

“llmda is ushering in a new era for embedded systems development. Poorly grounded input data results in schedule slips that increase operating expenses and reduce revenues,” said Nagesh Gupta, CEO of llmda.ai. “llmda Spectra customers are delighted that our product slashes document generation, maintenance and update times by up to 90%.”

llmda Spectra is gaining momentum across multiple high-profile companies in markets such as semiconductor, automotive and industrial.

“Technical documentation is essential to enable our customers in using and developing with our devices and tools,” said Eleena Ong, CVP of Software Solutions and Worldwide Applications at Lattice Semiconductor. “llmda Spectra accelerates the generation and maintenance of these technical documents, reducing manual effort while keeping the content aligned with our standards and technical accuracy.”

About llmda
llmda.ai addresses the latent flaw in embedded systems design – system specifications that have drifted out of synch and are no longer accurate. Using a comprehensive AI platform, llmda ensures all forms of system specifications are verified to be accurate and tied to known good data. llmda.ai is backed by investments from Emergent Ventures and Up Partners.
